The new boutique Cadran hotel, is the first truly contemporary hotel in the 7th arrondissement. The hotel boasts an enviable location in one of Paris's most exclusive, yet surprisingly quiet districts, surrounded by traditional cafes, bars and local boutiques. The hotel is also just a few minutes walk from the Eiffel tower , the Invalides, the Rodin Museum , the Orsay Museum and 20 minutes from the Champs-Elysees. For a touch of the local ambience and traditional French lifestyle, the famous open air ‘Rue Cler’ market, open daily, is just a short walk away. The hotel itself is home to its own chocolate bar/cafe where guests can sample chocolates, macaroons and marshmallows, sip hot chocolate in comfortable chairs and take away its delightful sweets. The bar offers the finest hot chocolate with subtle notes of vanilla or Espelette chilli peppers. An entire range of chocolates to savour are also on the menu, more than 30 different kinds, ranging from peppermint, green apple, tea, buckwheat, ginger, Guérande sea salt and including Christophe Roussel's chocolate lips, the new chocolate-coated lollipop macaroons exclusive to Paris. Breakfast at the Cadran is served in what was once an old wine making area, the ancient vaulted cellar has been transformed into a breakfast room serving a sumptuous continental breakfast including coffee, tea, hot chocolate, hot and cold milk, fruit juices, four types of cereals, whole-grain bread, Viennese pastries, baguettes, fresh fruit salad, cheeses, cottage cheese, delicatessen meats, honey and several kinds of jam. Rooms at the Cadran are ultra modern by design, incorporating various abstract clock face themes (‘Cadran’ meaning clockface in French). Each floor has its own unique colour theme and lighting scheme chosen by the designer to create ever changing environments within the hotel. This fashionable hotel makes the perfect choice for both chocoholics and shopaholics alike!
