Backstage Eiffel Tower Tour - 17h30 Information

Description

The iconnic symbol of Paris and France, the Eiffel Tower is one of the most visited sites in the world. By taking this exclusive tour you can skip the main queues and directly access the elevators up the tower!

For the first time since it was built by Gustave Eiffel in1889, we invite you to discover the Eiffel Tower through an unusual behind the scenes guided tour .You will enter the machinery room located under the tower from where the elevators are controlled. You will then visit the old military bunker under the Champ de Mars, formerly dedicated to radio telegraph equipment and staff. Finally take a walk on the technical gallery under the first floor of the Eiffel Tower which will give you a perspective unlike any other you have seen.

During this visit, the most fascinating aspects of the Eiffel Tower's history will be narrated, from the first building plans, to its new mission to serve telecommunications, as well its part in the major events that occurred during the last two centuries. The tour terminates at the first floor where you will have access to the Ciné Eiffel, boutique, café and exhibition hall. Here you can purchase additional tickets to ascend from an automated distributor on this level.

Please note: Although this tour allows you to skip the main queues, in the summer months the site is extremely busy some waiting time can be anticipated even with these tour tickets.
